I was walking in the general direction of my car, never noticed that The Macan was backing up, how are these tiny reverse lights even legal ?
Looks like I’m not the only one wondering about that:

Shit that’s comically small.

They use the same shit design on the Tiguan. I nearly had the same incident.
That should not be legal at all. Way too low and way too small.

Same thing happened to me once but with a Q7!
They are really tiny but not as small as the Macan’s.

It took me a few seconds to find the reverse lights in that picture actually. The California algo had those low reverse lights, but at least they were quite bigger than those in the Porsche. It suprises me they are legal, I can’t think of any modern car whose reverse lights were so far away from the tailights and so freaking small

If I’m going to get run down by a Porsche? I want to be struck by a top-of-the-line Turbo 4S with every single fucking option they sell on it. Yes, the $3000 stitching, and the carbon fiber everything, and the ceramic brakes. If the driver had excellent brakes and didn’t bother to stop, my estate has a winning case.

They do that with every Audi SUV but the Q2. Hell the even did it in the Bentley Bentayga, with a thin strip in the center in the same height as the exhausts

Counterpoint: this is worse.

Amber signals should be mandatory.

The first-gen Cayenne was cooler in that it had the Peugeot-esque taillights that let the turn signals be amber and the reverse lights be white even though the whole lens was red.

Wow you are very right. They are barely visibile and too low.
